Thought it was going to be a quiet day! Some cementing done and weeds sprayed. Received call from Spanish man suggesting 'Rufus' might be his dog. Sam (who was visiting at the time) and me took the dog to Bar Loli to meet him. Not his dog - Shame.
Received call saying that yet another Alsation had been found in La Romana. Arranged to pick up at 4:30. Man phoned later to say that he might keep the dog and could I leave him for now. Most happily said Yes.
Over to Frailies to take Tyson from kennels to a foster at La Canalosa. Back to Barbaroja to collect a van full of items from Sams kindly donated by a lady from Macisvenda for car boot sale.
Then to Frailies Town Hall to meet lady who has made our dog coats. Home to spend an hour sorting car boot items into some sort of order.
UPDATE ON THE PUPPY (SALLY) - Looked a little brighter this morning. Handfed a small amount of food then bathed and Lynne removed hundreds of dead ticks and fleas. Carried her outside (still hardly able to walk) and the little darling did a pee and the other. 'House trained already!' Had her medicine and more food and is definitely looking a little interested in her surroundings - but not moving about much.
Heard from lady who is fostering Coco. She is doing very well, settling in and being a very good girl. I am very pleased.
