A lot of activity lately. In the last 2 weeks we have picked up 8 dogs We have homed 5 so still on the wrong side there. One collected was a Sharpe (How do you spell that). He has Leishmania so will cost a bit but is treatable. He has already been promised a home. Another one Libby has an absess but again has a home when she is recovered. I have 2 puppies at my house so that shows how busy we are as I try to avoid pups. Seriously they are gorgeous and I suspect one might be staying!  On a down note Chica, the dog from Finca Rotez we have been trying to home has failed her homing test. Someone took her but she does not get on with their dogs. She is a lovely old girl but needs a home with no other dogs I think. On an even blacker note one of our big boys, Harry is going to have to be put to sleep. He has shown several incidents of real aggresion and nastiness, attempted biting etc to 3 different people so what can we do. The real down side of my duties that is. Most of the time he is fine but just cant be trusted Im afraid. Not looking forward to that job.  Great day yesterday. About 100 people turned out to the his and hers day at Johns house. We raised over 1000e between the auction(475), raffle (235) Gate money(235) and the food and drink profits so thanks to all the stall holders and the support from many of our regular and new supporters.
