February off to a flying start!!!!

Today we got a call from a lady in Barbarroja who had a young pup outside her house for 3 days….she asked for our  help. We went down and picked the lovely girl up and currently have her at a foster house until we can get posters up and check for a chip.

Also had great response from new adverts a lady rang after the TIM advert and has adopted Max – such good news that’s 2 dogs in 2 weeks from these new publications.

Yesterday a couple rang and brought a young beagle looking dog to Sam with harness still on and flee collar. We did some posters and sam put her in her car to walk around frailes but never made it as the puppy managed to lock her out of her car while the keys were in it and the engine running….anyway 20euros and an hour later she got back in the car (it was in the middle of the road) and her owners turned up at Sue and Daves looking for the dog had been for 3 days and were sent to Sue’s as someone known for working with animals. Anyway alls well that ends well the puppy is back with very grateful Spanish owners!

Currently we have 6 dogs needing a home but we are getting more and more calls everyday!

Feb 2nd - we went over and took photos of Poppy the lovely little black dog found. Spoke to a lady who called following an advert in coast rider and hopefully getting poppy down to see her as lady cannot drive. Poppy off to the vet tomorrow for a check up.

Looks like we may have homed Poppy which is brilliant going to Guardamar for a viewing next Wednesday. In the meantime Colin found a handsome lovely dog he has named Red tied to a bin! He is looking for a home if you know anyone.

Feb 5th - Alfie and Barby were taken to the vet. As suspecte Barby doesn't have a chip and Alfie needed his final injection before going to his new home.

The weekend saw Chica being picked up from her foster home they could no longer keep her after much upset and deliberation Chica went to Sam's house and the weekend was spent walking her around the hondon's trying to find her a loving home.

Feb 9th - Red has found a new home. We are so pleased a lady from La Marina called having seen him on the internet and he was adopted yesterday.
